A good name is better than riches according to Proverbs 22 I always said that sugar is the cause of fat, now national reports on T.V. say that most fat on peoples bodies come from their sugar intake. Now scientific facts indicate that the body stores fat if it has a supply of sugar to run on while consuming the sugar. We get enough sugar in foods to operate the brain and keep the body in a stable sugar level while burning fat as we consume it without carrying it around on our heart strings. If we like to live, let us invest effort into health, read a chapter from the book of the Proverbs everyday and pray until all your burdens roll away. Let us have control of our eating and know what is healthy or not healthy. We build or tear down our bodies daily. Why waste self? Proverbs 28-6 "Better is the poor that walketh in his upright-" I drove out I-385 this afternoon to Greenville mall and the new Montgomery Ward Store like the old to take our Magnavox T.V. struck by lighting 3 weeks ago. My ticket says Electric City from where they fixed our second T.V. about one year ago and kept the remote. A sign hit me almost in the face that $35.00 must be paid in advance to check it out. I thought I should just give it away; I had rather not pay for them to say what the total price would be for my T.V. to be fixed for me. I think I should buy a new one with a VCR combination for about the price I guess to fix the old one. I then went by the Lincoln dealer to see if they had a used car for me wholesale with 100,000 miles are more and they did but the sales pressure was very heavy and I want to paint today’s picture of a real salesmen behind his desk with a cute little toddler on a cycle pictured for all to see. In today’s world, a picture of the success of a 45 year old is the picture of his 2 year old child, not his grandchild. He also never shows his first wife. High pressure was too much but he needs it to support all his people. "Than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich." Today is the second anniversary of the crash of TWA's flight 800 off Long Island New York. I have traveled more than one million miles on 747's beginning in 1970 when Pan AM had been flying the first one for only 2 weeks from London to New York that is the direction my family and I flew on that cool February morning. I believe flight 800 was shot down either by accident or by enemy fire. For some time factions in the Arab world have reportedly been trying to blow up American 747 airliners over the pacific. A group or party was arrested in Manila a year or so ago with a plot to down 10 in acts of terrorism against the United States. I predict that such will continue until all planes are grounded especially long international flights. I consider it a risk to fly even to and from friendly countries. We are seeing the fulfillment of prophecy with all the fire power in the world today. I believe every bomb will explode and all this rage will continue until the great battle of God Almighty as in Revelation 16-16, "He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack.” I pray dear Lord for spiritual guidance in these days of uncertain life. Give thy people faith and understanding not to depend on government but on thy word and a personal relationship with you through our Lord Jesus Christ your Son who purchased our salvation through His death on the cross at Calvary as you willed.
